If you are considering writing an ANR publication, here are some questions to ask yourself and your fellow authors.

In publishing, production refers to the process after a manuscript has been peer reviewed and is accepted for publication.

If you have an idea for a new publication, these are the steps for publishing your manuscript with ANR Publications.

These steps of the ANR peer review process apply to all types of publications. Step 1author submits manuscript. An author submits a manuscript for peer review to the manuscript tracking system. Authors are encouraged to suggest possible reviewers.

Most multi-chapter, multi-author ANR publications are shepherded by a Technical Editor. This person functions as the primary contact author during the publications production and typically is listed as the books primary author in literature citations.

Line drawings for ANR peer-reviewed publications can be provided by Communication Services staff or by freelance illustrators, depending on the complexity of the illustrations and on CS's departmental work load.
