So many of my indoor plants have lived with me for many years. Some I've had for between five and ten years so naturally, like many of us, they all have stories! My Dracaena reflex var. angustifolia has a comeback story.

Claire Tuohey-Mote joined UCANR in January 2025 and is working as a Staff Research Associate with the Small Farms Network. She is based in San Luis Obispo and will be working with small farmers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.

Dear 4-H families, On Tuesday, February 20th, the 4-H Leaders Council will hold its monthly meeting at 7pm. This is an in-person meeting at 1432 Abbott St, Salinas. All 4-H families are invited to attend and take part in the councils discussion and planning.

As I was walking around the garden, picking up debris left by the recent rains and strong winds, raking up leaves that have fallen from my deciduous trees before they drop in the pool, I started reflecting on how the garden has grown in the last 12 years that we've lived here.
