4-H Clover Country - May 2015
Apr 30, 2015
4-H Families,
As we all know, there is lots going on this month. Please take a read through the newsletter. Now that the Calaveras Fair is upon us, there are some things you all need to make yourselves aware. Please don't expect your project or club leaders to do all of your "homework" with Fair-related questions. If you have specific questions or concerns regarding fair requirements, you are encouraged to contact the Calaveras County Fair staff directly. They are highly competent and can be reached at 209/736-2561.
We are hoping that each 4-H club will help out with our 4-H display booth which will be located in the Junior Exhibits white tent (on the hill above Mark Twain Hall). This will be a wonderful opportunity for 4-H members to give some public speaking!
This is a time to smile, take deep breaths, bite our tongues when we're tired and grumpy, but at the end of the day, just remember the lyrics to a wonderful Crosby, Stills and Nash song..."Teach Your Children"
Happy reading and I hope to see you at the Fair!
Jennifer
