This site contains local information of interest to gardeners in our region.

We don't try to be a comprehensive source on horticulture. There are hundreds of books and other websites that can provide that knowledge including the California Garden Web and the UC IPM Program to name two.

Our goal is to provide information that applies to our local situation, beyond what's provided in a general way elsewhere.

If you're interested in learning more about gardening in our area, consider attending one of our workshops or becoming a Master Gardener volunteer yourself!
